The camp is organised for children, parents and grand parents of Slovak Little School Melbourne and Slovak community. The aim of the program is to practice and improve knowledge of the Slovak language through games and other activities organised under the supervision of qualified Slovak teachers as well as strengthening mutual friendships in our community

Something about Camp days
Friday
  • Please arrive between 17.00 and 18.00 on Friday evening.

  • After arrival you will be shown to your accommodation and you will be required to attend a quick information session at 20.30 about the safety and fire procedures.

  • Please note: if you are unable to arrive at this time, please notify the camp leader in advance by phone or email.  

  • The Island camp provider advised not to arrive prior 5 pm. Thank you for your co-operation.

  • Please BYO dinner for Friday night

Saturday

Morning

Breakfast 08.00 and 09.00

  • Children should be busy with learning slovak language skills under the supervision of fully qualified slovak teachers while mums and dads can enjoy short stroll to the beach or coffee shops in Cowes

  • For sporty parens we have the whole gymnasium available, trmpolines, table tennis, billiard...

  • or just take it easy and relax...

 

Lunch 12.30 - 13.30

Siesta 13.30 - 15.00

 

  • Flying fox for kids and parents, trampolines, archery, swimming, ball games, table tennis and more...please make your own choice

  • Art workshop for children or adults

  • Relax and let children play...

Morning

Children will be busy learning some more slovak traditions, culture, geography ... while you can enjoy peacefull little beach town
